How to use the App

• First, tap to set your pickup location.
• Request your ride and a driver will accept.
• Enter the address or name of your destination.  

• After pickup, they show the driver where you’re going...

• ...and they’ll show you the route and ETA.

You can also Estimate the fare prior to travel. Just set your pickup location, enter a destination, and tap Fare Quote — the app will calculate an approximate amount based on estimated time and distance, so there are never any surprises on your receipt.

You can also use the app to split the cost of your trip with other Uber riders. After your ride starts, choose Split Fare from the menu and add the other passengers
